Industry Partnerships
The data your R&D team can't get anywhere else.
ParaBaro captures internal wing pressure dynamics during real flight — data no certification test house provides. We are inviting a small number of leading manufacturers to access this data, shape the technology, and lead the next chapter in understanding how wings behave in flight.

The Problem We Solve
Certification tests the wing. Nobody measures it in flight.
EN 926-2 testing measures how a wing recovers after a collapse is provoked. It does not measure the internal pressure dynamics that cause a wing to collapse in the first place. That gap is where pilots get hurt — and where ParaBaro operates.
What certification measures
Collapse recovery behaviour under controlled, provoked conditions on a test day with a single test pilot.
- Time to recover from asymmetric collapse
- Rotation angle and altitude loss
- Pilot input required for recovery
- Static load and shock tests on the ground
What we add
Continuous internal pressure recording during real flight — thousands of hours across varied conditions, wings, and pilots.
- Cell pressure asymmetry preceding collapse onset
- Across-sail inflation pressure behaviour under turbulence
- Span-wise load distribution on speed bar
- Wing-specific pressure profiles across EN classes A–D
How to Partner
Three levels of collaboration.
We structure partnerships to match your level of interest and R&D appetite. All begin with a mutual NDA. All protect your IP and ours.
Data Partner
The lowest-friction way to access structural flight data specific to your wing models. No cost, no engineering resource required.
- ParaBaro fitted on 2–3 of your wings (non-invasive)
- Your test pilots fly their normal programme
- Full pressure dataset delivered under mutual NDA
- EN certification entirely unaffected
- No financial commitment from your side
Available now · Limited to 4 manufacturers
R&D Partner
ParaBaro becomes part of your design validation workflow. Gain objective structural data at each prototype stage, not just after certification.
- All Tier 1 benefits
- Integration into prototype and pre-production testing
- ML-derived collapse pressure signatures for your models
- Input into ParaBaro product roadmap
- Joint publication and research credit options
From Q3 2026 · Subject to NDA and scope agreement
OEM / Licensing Partner
Integrate ParaBaro or license the pressure-pattern model into your wing range. Be the first manufacturer with in-flight canopy pressure data from your own wings.
- All Tier 1 & 2 benefits
- Licensing of the ParaBaro pressure-pattern model
- Co-branded instrumentation in new wing models
- White-label or OEM sensor hardware options
- Revenue share on co-developed products

Wing Development Kit
A measurement platform built for manufacturers.
The Wing Development Kit is a purpose-built instrumentation package for wing manufacturers, test houses, and academic groups who need internal pressure data at the prototype and pre-production stage. It fits on any certified or uncertified wing without structural modification and records left-right pressure asymmetry, across-sail inflation pressure, and speed-bar response at 10 Hz from two measurement points per wing.
What it measures
- Internal cell pressure at four span-wise positions
- Left-right differential pressure asymmetry across the span
- Speed-bar load distribution during active piloting
- Pre-collapse pressure signatures in natural turbulence
- Span-wise loading under accelerated and decelerated trim
How it fits into your programme
Manufacturer test programmes and SIV schools often fly the same wing models. The pressure behaviour a manufacturer wants to characterise under controlled SIV conditions is the same data that makes a school's debrief meaningful — so we run school-side measurement blocks (see the SIV partnership programme below) alongside the manufacturer engagement when the wings overlap.
Data is delivered under the same mutual NDA that governs the manufacturer partnership tiers. Wing-specific profiles are never shared across competing brands.
Open interfaces: WDK data is available as CSV, binary stream, and REST endpoint. BLE and USB output supported. Full protocol documentation available under NDA.
SIV Partnership Programme
For schools that want evidence in their debriefs.
Every SIV course produces stories. Pilots remember the manoeuvre, the recovery, the moment they felt the wing go. The instructor remembers a different version. The pilot’s GoPro shows a third. The wing itself — the part that actually did the thing — has nothing to say. ParaBaro changes that.
We run a three-tier engagement with SIV schools and progression centres:
Try It.
A loan unit for one course. We send a ParaBaro and a receiver, you fly it on a student wing across one SIV programme, you keep the data, you tell us what worked and what didn’t. No fee, no commitment.
Equipped Partner.
Permanent loan in exchange for an anonymised data-sharing agreement. The data your students generate goes back to us under terms we agree at the start; the instrument stays with you. You become part of the calibration set that improves the model for every other pilot flying ParaBaro.
Certified Centre.
Annual subscription. Multiple units, brand visibility on the ParaBaro school directory, joint case studies, priority on firmware features that matter for instruction. Pricing settled in conversation.
We start every conversation the same way: a 20-minute call about what your students struggle with, and where pressure data might or might not help. If we don’t think it helps, we’ll say so.

Intellectual Property
Clear IP boundaries protect both sides.
Partnerships are built on trust and legal clarity. Here is how IP is structured across all collaboration levels.
Aviometrics IP — exclusively ours
The ParaBaro differential pressure sensing methodology is the subject of UK patent application GB 2601810.1, filed 27 January 2026 (14 claims; further applications in preparation). Patent Pending; no patent has yet been granted. This covers the sensor network architecture, data synchronisation approach, and the machine learning methodology for canopy structural anomaly detection.
The aggregate ML model trained on our beta fleet dataset, and all algorithmic IP derived from it, remain the exclusive property of Aviometrics Ltd in all partnership tiers.
In plain terms: No partnership gives a manufacturer access to the core technology or the pressure-pattern model. Tier 3 licensing provides a defined right to use the output of the model — not the model itself.
Shared data — jointly owned under NDA
Pressure data collected on a specific manufacturer's wing models is treated as jointly owned information under the mutual NDA. Neither party may publish or share this data without the other's written consent.
Wing-specific pressure profiles derived from your models will never be disclosed to competitors or used in any public dataset without your explicit agreement.
What you keep: Full ownership of your wing designs, construction data, and all proprietary manufacturing IP. Participating in a data partnership creates no claim on your products or processes.
EN certification — unaffected
ParaBaro sensors attach non-invasively as two magnet-coupled pairs, one module inside the cell and one on the outside of the lower surface directly opposite, held together through the fabric. Nothing is sewn, glued, or attached to the risers. There is no structural modification to the wing. The certified wing configuration is unchanged. The certified wing configuration is unchanged. ParaBaro makes no assessment of a wing against EN 926-2 or LTF, and nothing it measures validates, contradicts or extends a certification.
Ideal Partners
Who this is designed for.
We are selective about who we work with. The initial phase is limited to four manufacturers. We are looking for partners who share a genuine commitment to understanding wing behaviour in flight.
Wing Manufacturers
EN-A through EN-D wing brands who invest in R&D and want structural flight data beyond what certification testing provides. Particularly relevant for brands with active SIV and test pilot programmes.
Flight Instrument Makers
Variometer and flight computer manufacturers interested in integrating real-time canopy structural monitoring into existing products. Licensing the ParaBaro pressure model as an embedded feature.
Flight Schools & Training Centres
Schools seeking objective data for student training, SIV course instrumentation, or insurance differentiation. We offer a separate school partnership track alongside the manufacturer programme.
How It Works
From first contact to live data.
A straightforward four-step process. First data delivery typically within one flying season of the NDA being signed.
Initial call
30-minute video call to understand your R&D priorities and confirm partnership fit. No commitment required.
Mutual NDA
Standard mutual NDA executed. IP boundaries agreed in writing before any data or technical detail is shared.
Sensor fitting
