A recorder for the inside of your wing
ParaBaro records the pressure inside your paraglider wing at two points, together with your GPS track. You read it after you land.
It is a recorder, not an instrument. It gives no warnings in flight. Fly your normal instruments and your normal judgement.

Your vario records where you went. ParaBaro records what the wing went through.
A paraglider keeps its shape because air rams in through the cell openings and pressurises the canopy from inside. That pressure is never constant. It changes with how the air meets the wing: on glide, in turns, in thermals and in turbulence.
At each measurement point a pair of modules sits on either side of the fabric: one inside the cell, one outside directly opposite, held together by magnets. The difference between the two tells you how hard the wing was inflated at that point. One pair sits on each side of the wing, so left and right are recorded separately.
How it works
Fit four modules to your wing
Two magnet-coupled pairs, one on each side, held through the fabric. Nothing is modified, and they can stay fitted between flights.
Fly as you always do
The ParaBaro Bridge, a small unit with no screen, records the pressure inside your wing together with your GPS track.
Read it back after you land
Your track and the pressure on each side of your wing, flight by flight, on your pilot dashboard.

Four wing modules
Two magnet-coupled pairs, about 20 g each and about 80 g in all. They fit through the open leading-edge cells in two to three minutes. No cutting, sewing or glue.
Your own instruments
Keep your vario and your flight app. The only flight app we have tested with ParaBaro is XCTrack; with anything else: not tested yet.

Beta testers pay £199 including VAT (£165.83 plus VAT), once. The regular price of the same unit is £395 including VAT (£329.17 plus VAT). It is yours on delivery: no subscription, nothing to fly off.
