• Vario now reads true climb/sink (audio was exaggerated ~2.4x) and altitude statistics are accurate
• If sensor signal is lost, the vario fades to silence instead of holding the last tone
• Quieter beta: voice prompts and collapse alerts removed — the device focuses on accurate recording; vario beeps stay pilot-controlled (volume, incl. off)
• Faster GPS start-up: the device now gives the GPS the current time and last-known location on power-up, so it searches directly instead of scanning the whole sky from scratch (helps after the module has been off for a while)
• Faster GPS acquisition: now uses all four satellite systems (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou) for more satellites in view — especially where the sky is partly blocked
• SBAS corrections now actually applied, and predicted-orbit assistance enabled to speed repeat fixes
• The startup "welcome" sound now respects your audio setting — silent when audio is off, and matched to your chosen volume otherwise
• Audio "off" (and your volume choice) now truly persists across restarts
• Your on-device volume is no longer overwritten by the synced profile at startup
• Audio "off" and volume now stay set after a restart
• Screen brightness is remembered (and auto-dim never goes brighter than you set)
• On-device settings are no longer overridden by the synced profile at startup
• All four sensors now stay connected throughout a flight (BLE timing + fair scheduling)
• Per-sensor signal strength (RSSI) added to the flight CSV log
• Flight summary no longer shows "-9999" for max altitude
• New compact binary flight log (PBB) for richer post-flight analysis
• More reliable flight-log writing (CSV/PBB in sync)
• Out-of-range sensor readings are now rejected instead of logged
